The YWCA Yellowknife after school program is now accepting registrations for the 2011-2012 school year for children ages 5 to 10 at Yellowknife Public Schools (YK1).
The program is conveniently located within the school so your child or children don’t have to leave the school at dismissal. Staff provides a wide variety of exciting indoor and outdoor activities to keep your child or children entertained and engaged. They are also served a healthy snack.
Each location is supervised by an adult leader assisted by a student leader. They are First Aid/CPR trained, providing a safe environment with your child or children’s best interests at heart. The after school program runs until 5:45 p.m. The cost per student is $260 per month.
Please note, all spaces in programs at Yellowknife Catholic Schools for 2011-12 have been filled.
In addition, YWCA Yellowknife offers half day, full days and March Break programs when the schools are closed.
