Donate furniture and clothing |

We appreciate your donations, but please do not drop your garage sale leftovers at YWCA Yellowknife’s Rockhill apartments.
We end up paying to take most of it to the dump.
YWCA Yellowknife's transitional and emergency housing units are furnished with donations from the community. We appreciate the donation of kitchen tables and chairs, living room furniture, beds and dressers, and the like. Please ensure they are clean and in good condition before dropping them off. We also appreciate sheets, towels, dishes, pots, pans and the like. We do NOT have a use for large appliances such as fridges, stoves, washers, dryers, dishwashers and freezers. Donations can be dropped off at 4904-54 Avenue.
YWCA Yellowknife also operates a clothing exchange. We welcome donations of clothing for all ages, including coats and boots. Please ensure clothing is clean and in good repair. Donations can be left at Suite 108. The clothing exchange is open to anyone in need, on Wednesdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
If you are unsure whether your used items are needed, please call the transitional housing program staff at 873-5760
