We are a non-profit agency that builds safe and equitable communities where women, families and people living with disabilities can realize their full potential. Our service areas include Alison McAteer House family violence shelter, emergency and transitional housing for families at Rockhill, supported living and in-home support for people with disabilities and mental health issues, afterschool care for children, empowerment programs for girls and help for children who witness violence.

Casual Community Support Worker

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 21 (for vehicle insurance purposes)
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or with mental health issues
  • Standard First Aid and CPR (C)
  • Clear Criminal Record Check
  • Up to date immunizations, including Hep B and TB
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
