Story

60 Years of History

Since opening its doors in 1966, YWCA NWT has grown to be the largest and longest-serving social services organization in the Northwest Territories. We provide wraparound support and a range of services including emergency and transitional family housing, shelter from family violence, affordable after school childcare, family and youth empowerment programs, free legal advice for survivors, and more.
